last year our scouts sold us a strip of postage stamps theyd printed for £1 for 24 and we posted the cards in their special box in the village and they delivered the cards to local addresses look out for yours doing the same
We used to do the same - the local chemist had a scout 'post box' and we paid 10p per card to be delivered locally. It was a nice way of helping a local cause. We live about 350 miles away now and they don't do that here.0 -
they did it in Inverness which is a good way from us so it came in handy for me that way as well, few bob for scouts and saved me a packet on stamps0

also, just a thought, dont forget you can do your own matching tags too, i've stuck the paper on cereal packs and cut them out with zig zag scissors.0

In emergencies I've often used tin foil :-[ . Tied up with nice ribbon it can look lovely.
Or for birthdays a personal touch - use the front cover of the newspaper of the date of there birthday for that year (i.e rumage around in the recycling bag until you find yesterdays/ todays paper :-[)
Tried to pass both of these off as 'originals', not sure it worked though
This year I've bought a couple of 15m rolls of brown paper for £99 or £1.99 from Ikea and I'm going to decorate them with traditional potato stamps. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -
