Also I used up my ripe pears by making a Pear, Raisin and Cinnamon Crumble and will probably make some flapjacks this week too.

I'm still a newbie and have never posted a meal plan so be gentle with me!

Sun: Whole chicken in slow cooker, roast pots, cauliflower, peas and gravy
Mon: Baked bean loaf, potato wedges and carrots
    Tue: Chicken (left over) risotto
Wed: Vegetable curry with cashews, rice, naans, yoghurt, mango chutney
Thu: Tagliatelle with vegetable ribbons and garlic bread
Fri: Hm battered fish and chips and broccoli
Sat: Ainsley's Jamaican Jerk Chicken, rice or couscous and veg
Sun: Slow cooked chicken again (DD's favourite), pots and veg
Mon: Going to family in France for 5 days!!

Thanks to all for so much inspiration!

Hi Curly, could I possibly have the recipe for your Baked bean loaf, that sounds like just what I've been looking for recently (trying to cut down on our meat intake!)

I really want to get into this meal planning business but need a few more recipes under my belt before I dare publish what we eat!!
Light bulb moment Feb 2014! Total debt then £17,497.64
    Current debt £8121.16.
Expected debt free date Aug 2030 with current plan but I will beat that date, I had to adjust it due to a drop in wages :(
