So annoyed - stupid feedback
Comments
-
A positive is better than a negative so there's no point withdrawing it, it counts on your feedback score.
I can appreciate you are annoyed by this as it would annoy me as well. I had a similar comment left last year, due to a delay with the Xmas post.
Why don't you use a bit of reverse psychology and follow up with a comment like:
Item delayed due to Bank Holiday post. Very understanding buyer. Thanks!
Rather than people reading the 'slow delivery' bit and thinking 'what's that about?', they will read your response and see that the delay was due to the Bank Holiday, and also the buyer was pleased with the purchase. The fact that you've responded with a positive comment means you'll come away looking like a friendly seller who likes to look after customers.
The alternative is to respond with something nasty which will just put people off!
Oh and as mentioned by Soo, block them from bidding any of your future auctions!0 -
Just leave feedback for them of 'slow payment, but money recd eventually, thank you'0

Happed to me, I bought an item when it came it stunk of smoke and was really old looking!!! it was for my daughter so I put it in the bin, I left negative feedback stating what had happened and they then left negative feedback for me!! I emailed ebay to point out that the seller had only negative feedback in retaliation but they were not interested!!!
lesson learnt don't leave feedback unless the other person has already done so!Cats have 9 lives, we only get 1 so live a little! :rotfl:0 -

Soo
How do you block from bidding?
I've looked for it, but can't find it anywhere.
I had buyer who left neg, then had the cheek to contact me 3 weeks later and ask for a refund, despite then going on to tell me how pleased they were with it, just that they didn't think it matched item description.
Bloomin crackpots.
So yes, I'd like to block them.
Incidentally they paye via paypal, v fast, and I'd already left them a pos.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Can't remember exactly how to get to the blocked bidder list, but I have a shortcut set up:

Forgive me if this has been mentioned a few zillion times before. The more I read these forums the more I think that the eBay feedback system is very unfair. Someone who posts genuine negative feedback (whether they are buyer or seller) may well receive negative feedback whether it is deserved or not.davidsonsl wrote:... Thus, how can we have faith in the system? It seems ironic that its strength in highlighting bad eBayers is its weakness, as it allows unjustified negative responses to be left. In ebay's help pages which talk about disputes, it ends with "eBay encourages all users to leave appropriate feedback about their trading partners." How many dodgy ebayers are gonna do that??!
I do like the idea of responding with a nice comment for someone who leaves you unjustified negative feedback.0 -
Maybe the seller should be required to leave feedback rating how good a payer the buyer is? Rather than wait until the buyer leaves feedback then the seller leaving their own feedback accordingly?0
-
I personally would not bring attention to the feedback by leaving a follow up comment. It will be dropping off the page soon enough anyway. If it were me I would just leave them a brutally honest positive in return. If you was feeling really nasty you could always make it a neutral "There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

I totally agree that it is entirely fair for the seller to be forced to leave a feed back as soon as they get their money as a prompt payment is what they are expecting from the buyer. This would leave the buyer free to really leave a meaningful feedback without fear from retaliation.biblejohn wrote:Maybe the seller should be required to leave feedback rating how good a payer the buyer is? Its a gamble in so many ways with ebay.....it is impossible to judge the character of the other person....they could be totally inflexible/thick/in a bad mood/.....anything.....and feedback comments cannot tell any part of the story in only a few characters worth....that's ebay and its tough luck really0
