Found THIS SITE which seems to have lots of slow cooker recipes.

I'm also adding this CONVERSION CHART to help convert american measures to british ones! Hope this helps someone!

has any one tried this before? if so what do they come out like? and how long should i keep em in for?

    hope they turn out soft

I would like to try baked potatoes over the w/end so would love to hear how they turned out as the poster who used another method said they weren't too good. Oh and did you put a little water in the bottom of the crock?

I did some baked spuds in the slow cooker while I was cooking the chicken last week. I just washed them and wrapped in foil then placed around the chicken and they came out lovely :)

I also cooked baby new potatoes in there while cooking my pork steaks ... put them in a dish with a tablespoon of water and just sat them on top of the steaks ... also came out fine!

I love this one pot cooking lark :D

I found THIS for cooking baked potatoes at the site that Arkonite_Babe gave us earlier.
Use words that are soft and sweet in case you have to eat them.

This is a great site...the user reviews at the end of each recipe are very useful :) It's a shame there aren't more hours in the day so I could read them all ;)

Sorry if this sounds a bit obvious but did you cover your spuds dish with a lid or foil etc?

No, just left it open but I guess you could cover it if you wanted to.
