Found THIS SITE which seems to have lots of slow cooker recipes.
I'm also adding this CONVERSION CHART to help convert american measures to british ones! Hope this helps someone!

I would like to try baked potatoes over the w/end so would love to hear how they turned out as the poster who used another method said they weren't too good. Oh and did you put a little water in the bottom of the crock?0 -
I did some baked spuds in the slow cooker while I was cooking the chicken last week. I just washed them and wrapped in foil then placed around the chicken and they came out lovely
I also cooked baby new potatoes in there while cooking my pork steaks ... put them in a dish with a tablespoon of water and just sat them on top of the steaks ... also came out fine!
I love this one pot cooking lark"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

No, just left it open but I guess you could cover it if you wanted to."An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
