I think that's definitely not a bad idea. I'm really struggling, got the 1st one answered but with the next 2 I think I know the make of the car but after about 40 pages on each I've not seen the code. Is there a good postcode to search from? This is driving me mad!
no idea about a particular postcode - i dont think it should matter
but i never saw the keys even when autotrader on FB said it would be on 1st or 2nd page so ive no idea where they should even appear, in the car door, windscreen shots or just somewhere on the page
& bloomin FB is up n down like a yoyo atm anyway and i havent got any keys or clues for today because i been out for most of it

It appears a bit like a used car ad part way down the page.
Hopefully FB will be up and running again tomorrow so we can help each other out a bit. I've no problem looking myself but would be nice to know if I'm on the right track or not.....0 -
Can I just ask folks to state which BG that they send to with merge requests, as there was a comp which I posted earlier on today and it was still on the board as a dup for 10 hours until I sent a PM to Darren to merge the threads...:eek:

Hi MD, Would it really make a difference if we mentioned who we sent it to though as the board guides would get annoyed if we PM'd more than one of them for a merge just because it hadn't been done quickly enough (they've mentioned before not to send a merge request to more than one of them)? I guess if one of them hadn't been online for a week or so it might incase someone didn't know that they were on holiday or something..? will try and remember to mention i if i request a merge from now on.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Yes it would actually when a member states that they've requested a merge, but in fact hadn't.

I simply don't understand how to find a key, i've been searching for what seems like hours. do we type a car name in the search box and the key will come up, or do we click on te car and filter through each page?0

ive not really had a chanced to investigate this time round yet....but remebering from last thread, some of us had probs in firefox with adblock or something hiding the add fo rthe key. in fact maybe it was firefox full stop as i seem to remember even allowing autotrader on that didnt help me see the key.
ill try and remember to search for the old thread in game over tomorrow and see if it gave any clues as to how to make the actual keys show.0
