As an alternative to Adobe Reader, you might want to try Foxit Reader - very fast, and very light-weight install ;).

Wow - that installed so easily and can read the documents, not sure what was happening with Adobe - it wouldn't download and kept getting errors.
    Thanks so much for this.

It's a nice alternative to the bloated Adobe; let us know if you need any additional help Summer. It might be worth your while adding another one gigabyte to your exiting Ram, IMO.

Thank you, all you help has been invaluable :A

I did get a Western Digital My Passport Essential 250GB USB Portable External Hard Drive from Amazon

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-Passport-Essential-Portable/dp/B0012IOHVM

I was planning to move my photos onto here as they are currently on my computer..

Where would be the best place to buy any extra memory? The PC was purchased directly from Dell...

I know many people swear by http://www.crucial.com/uk/index.aspx ; they have quite good support and returns policy also.
If your part is not compatible with your system, you can return your memory to us for a full refund within 30 days of the ship date.

Just ensure you purchase the correct memory type Summer: see this link http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/drammemory.aspx
