I really have no idea how to play and I ticked the box to sit out for about an hour of it whilst I was chatting on the phone !
I guess the only stumbling blocks are the 7 p.m. start time (8 p.m. here - trough time!!) and my nerves.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

Back to School Zone has been removed from site, which is why the quiz isn't working. From Ciara:

I also get confused about opening an account and withdrawing the PiggyPoints from Betfair, and I've never organised myself to sit down and read through it all properly.
Regarding the poker, it's tricky to be at the PC at 8 p.m. most times, so I don't like to commit myself, nor the cook, sommelier and serving wenches.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
Has anyone actually won sunglasses from Not Designer?0

DS - Im am also a little wary of the cash for Betfair vouchers !!!
Someone did kindly say that it all works but as I am not a gambler and I am not really interested in becoming one I am still a bit unsure about committing to the initial sign up and gambling the £10 of hard earned cash to get the quidco bonus so that I can then possibly get my piggy points out in cash through Betfair.
Does anyone have any re-assuring advice for me ?Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0 -

Furrypig, all you have to do is click on the link provided each day, usually by jules. That should open a window and a box will appear with something like 'thankyou for entering the crossword', you click ok and then the blank crossword appears. No need to do anything more - that's you entered! People have won by using this link so we know it worksDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. If you don't want to risk your £10 on gambling in order to get cashback - don't! You can just sign up to betfair for free, no need to give card details
If you did decide to risk the £10 though, you could try to find a bet that is as close to a certainty as possible - obviously nothing is guaranteed though. Take it another step (if you've got the head space) by looking into matched betting on the gambling board.
As for 'cashing in' you piggypoints through betfair - it works perfectly. I've now exchanged 4000 piggypoint for £40 and had no problems :T You simply buy the betfair 'voucher' reward through pigsback in the normal way and give them your betfair username. The amount will be credited with 3-4 days in my experience. You then click the 'withdraw' button in betfair, enter the amount you want to withdraw and submit. If you have deposited with betfair this amount will be refunded onto the card you deposited with, if not it'll be sent to you as a cheque.
£40 cash for 4000 points - lovely!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

Claire_DC wrote:They do say that he is professional, and they are an irish site so maybe it is him as he is irish too?
OR it could be somebody with the same name?
He is a professional but he has only won $195,913 since 2003 he did come 57th in the 2003 WSOP main event. He is 20th in the all time Irish money list.
4 people on that list have won over $1 million with the top name being Andy Black with $ 2,127,951
The picture on the Betfair site matches the one that I have just looked at.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0
