  • Umm, RE are meaner than I thought. Boo!
  • I did wonder why that job disappeared so quick, I think I even commented on here that they didn't look all that appealing to me.

Oh well, at least you got your vacuum thingys at a reduced price!

Happy birthday Squidge, me, you, pennies and anna should have got together for a drink sometime this week to celebrate x

Well not that reduced if you take travel into account. In fact bl**dy expensive really lol. To be honest there's not that much for the full reimbursement to buy in those stores anyway, although the lady at RE did say that vouchers were ok. Too late for me though . A 47p job....I ask you lol.

Perhaps we could make it next week. I'm sure that's what me and anna were talking about.

What do you have to do to get accepted by ESA for a job? I've applied for about 8 over the last month or so and been turned down every time
As I said in a previous message, the online system is very frustrating. I've been working for them for several years and a supervisor used to allocate the work to you by phone, but now that you apply for the work online, the chances of getting any work is poor. I've applied too for 6 jobs recently and received none.

They're getting worse TG aren't they? And the fees are getting lower as well. Some of the things they ask you to comment on are just totally ridiculous.

They phoned me with a query on one of these jobs to ask if the person was wearing glasses or not. She wasn't which was why I didn't mention it, but the RE person told me that I should have and deducted 2 points. I'd got her name (obscure), gender, her height, and said that she had long blonde curly hair tied back but seemingly this wasn't enough to identify her, I should also have put "and she wasn't wearing glasses".

I had a disastrous chicken job today. It was all perfect until I went to eat my food and one of my items was the wrong. The manager had realised and had come over to me and offered to get me the correct item which then had to be cooked so took a while.

I am so going to get fired.

Ridiculous isnt it. Next time I do one I'm going to put "She wasn't wearing glasses, but I could not tell if she was wearing contact lenses. I'm fairly certain she didn't have a false eye though".

I had one of those Sunday. 20 minute wait for chicken on the bone. And half way through with 11 customers ahead of me in the queue, the managers son comes wandering in and she passed him a chicken-wrapped-in-tortilla which he didn't pay for!

Didn't add that bit in the report, but had to report the times and they havn't come back to me yet...

Has anyone done a "circuit" of retail shops (i.e. not vehicles) for TERN before?
