if I remember rightly - if say you needed 4 bedrooms and they had a 5 apartment (3 bed/living room/separate dining room) you would be expected to utilise the dining room as sleeping accommodation
Shocking, I am surprised it's allowed.

No it's not 3 room apartment - it's 3 apartment house/flat (each apartment is a room) I know - it's a bit daft that the terminology is different up there - but you do get used to it, if I remember rightly - if say you needed 4 bedrooms and they had a 5 apartment (3 bed/living room/separate dining room) you would be expected to utilise the dining room as sleeping accommodation. Ofcourse that was quite a few years ago - and it may have changed since then.

I have to admit, I'm slightly confused now.

I don't know of many social houses that have seperate dining rooms.

Therefore, what would a 4 apartment actually be? I'm guessing 3 bedrooms and a living room.

From what you have said above, if you needed 4 bedrooms, you'd get a 3 bed but then be expected to use the dining room if it had one. What if it did not have a dining room, as I doubt any being built do now?

I thought you meant you would be expected to use the lounge as a bedroom when you first posted, or that the lounge counted as part of the "bedrooms".

What on earth is wife beater?
I am not entirely sure I should ask, the last question I asked on here (what is a reverse cowgirl) someone answered. I haven't stopped blushing since.

now you see, its this that worries me.

is this merely yet another common misconception? or is my original chav status being taken away from by a new wave of uber chavs?

old school chav: rollies, cider, xr2/ 206 gti outside, tattoos, support their local football team, listen to 'proper' music

new wave: can afford new tellys, alright cars, STELLA! :rotfl:, burberry, plus chelsea & man utd tickets even though theyre from plymouth/ hull. plus, worst of all have their own 'plastic new wave' chav music
