Morning to Hypno and all debtbusters!
Skint spice - WELL DONE YOU!!!!!!! Brilliant news when one of the crew gets their release papers!! My debt free day will be somewhere around 2014/2015, when my IVA finishes, but I am sure it will soon come round. Payday today. cheers and tears all round. Tears because I have to renew my sodding car tax today, as well as pay other bills that have lurked behind the bushes waiting for payday. Never mind, we will have fish and chips from the local chippy tonight as a payday treat. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Congratulations, Skint Spice!!!
Thats seriously good news!
I'm just about to have a RL cup of tea, to which I'll add a virtual champagne chaser!
And for the mini Hypnos too, off to play in the big wide world, lovely.
Have a good one, Hypno, and everyone else too. I'm off to London, a seminar and then work. At least I'll relax on the train!

Just back from shopping, and, like Hypno, have stocked up fridge and freezer. So, even though I spent 3 times as much today as intended, at least what I've bought will be used over the month so should be able to clock up a few no-spend days in July. That's my excuse, anyway. I have no overdrafts or credit cards any more so once it's gone it's gone. At least all the bills get paid now and I don't have to send the OH down the docks on a Friday night......One life - your life - live it!0

Not much to report - have done a couple of dooyoo reviews and it is double scratch day today too.......
I have decided to have a £20 challenge.....
As anyone who has seen my spending diary knows, one of my problems is spending the odd 80p on coffee at the ski club, 50p on chocolate etc.......so I have taken out £20, and will see just how long I can make it last.
The idea is that this doesn't cover milk, bread or other essentials that I have to buy during the week, nor will it cover bus fare etc, but it has to cover anything I could think twice about spending, or could find a cheaper way of doing it.
So.......I have no idea how long this will last for, but it is worth a go.....!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
