Hi all.. back from work now.

OH was very kind earlier and filled my car up for me so I didn't have to do it in the usual Friday night rush at the petrol station near work :D I'm taking him out for tea tonight, although I'm sure I got the better end of the deal as his tea won't cost the £40 he just paid out for the petrol! ;)

I keep feeling random limbs right round my side, like Bob keeps slipping! :( Bump keeps going all wonky! I think he's longer than I am wide..

    Hope everyone's okay xx

    Thanks lolly and KT

I do need new make up - it's mainly my eyes I'm poo at. I just have boring browns all the time. I have cool skin (i.e cool rather than warm not cool as in wicked!) and medium brown hair so always end up looking washed out!

I could do a ...... 'Oh I really need some new eyeshadow but am !!!!!! at applying? could u give me some tips?!' Also am poop at eyeliner!

I went once for a foundation - she put it on and it looked fab but gave me the wrong one to buy so ended up like I'd been Tango'd :rotfl:

Oh nooooooo I need some advice ~ as if today wasn't stressful enough!!

Had a phone call not long ago from the housing, they have offered me a HA house!

This is it : http://www.wirralhomes.net/Detail.asp?PropertyID=6778 it's 3 miles away from where we are now, and all I'm thinking is that it's unfair on the kids to uproot them!

Oh I don't know what to do, it couldn't have come at a worse time, I dunno whether to laugh or cry!!

I've got the weekend to think about it, then I need to ring the woman back first thing Monday morning to let her know if I'm interested. If not, then that's that, but if I am I can go and get the keys, look around and if I want it then it's mine.

I'm in private at the moment and will have been here for 11 years this July. I love the area but the house is in dire need of modernisation.

Wouldn't mind but I just paid £400 last month for new carpets and we decorated the hall stairs and landing too! Sod's bloody law strikes again lol

    Help!!!!

Hello Shell - I came on looking if you'd had anything more in the way of pains?

About the house - i'd snap their hands off!, its a nice area. If you're private renting at the minute, how likely is it that the landlord would do any modernisation?
Would the children have to change schools? (Sorry, I cant remember the ages apart from 13? - I assume he would travel to big school anyway, and its not that far from where you are now.

(If you don't mind - can I ask how long you'd been waiting? We're waiting to move somewhere bigger - but have only been waiting about a year and from what i've heard, the children will have left home before we hear anything!)

    :rotfl:lol @ being tango'd

Forgot some will charge a small fee like £10 but you will get this back against any products you buy :-)

If your worried about colour why dont you go to claires accesories and buy one of there colour pallets and just play about with it in the mirror i used to be all browns and golds then i bought some really funky colours and just experimented its amazing what you find you like and dont be frightened to clash the colours i found my fave combo was my kingsfisher colours ie green on top with blue under the eye and if you go for funky eyes keep the cheeks and the mouth neutral :-)

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know i had a little boy on wednesday morning and he was 7 lb, his name is Rhys Edward.:j:j:j:j

Big crongrats to everyone who have just had there bundles.

I thought that because the rest were pretty straight forward that this labour would be to. I started getting pains on tuesday coming 5 minutes apart but by the time it was 3pm they had gone. Then they came back at 5pm and 3 minutes apart. Rang hospital who told me to come up so left for the hospital at 8.30. On the way up are windscreen decided that the crack we had would turn into a big crack, honestly thought it was just gonna break.
Got to hospital and waited an hour to be seen, pains stayed the same. Got examined and was told i was 3-4 cms but they didn't want to send me home incase things moved on to quickly so they moved us up to the ward which had 3 people in it (so i didn't need to worry that there would be no room). Got the gas and air but i did ask about an epidural but they said it would be hard to get and that i wouldn't get it (then i heard them tell a first time mum to be that she could have it, as far as the nurses where concerned i'd done the last 3 with gas and air so i'll do this one the same).
Finally got taken down to the midwife unit and got toast and tea, i thought my waters had broken which would have been new to me but it turned out to be a lot of blood, so midwife checked me and said she wasn't sure what it was so put it down to being a show.
I don't remember much off the middle bit to be honest but he was back to back, the pains i had in my back were unreal but the birthing chair really helped.
Once i'd reached the pushing stage things just went very quickly as the baby's heartbeat started to drop and they told me i'd really have to push quick to get him out, they said he had started to rotate and every so offen there would be more water, i just panicked. I pushed so hard that i was sick in the middle of it all but it took about 6 pushed to get him out.
I was so relieved to hear him crying but to be honest i just couldn't stop shaking (just the shock i suppose) i couldn't even hold him, then i was sick again. Hubby got a good nurse while they gave me a stitch and i tried to eat but was too tired and shaking.
Sorry that turned into a birth story. One thing i had the whole way through labour was heartburn, i never even thought that could happen.
I'd go through it again for my wee boy but it was hard work this time espically when the rest where textbook.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
