lloyds tsb upgrade from silver to gold

Has anyone else had problems trying to updrade their account from silver to gold and maybe beyond?
JS Name: Freemans £94/£200, Jacamo £941/£1400, Santander account £0/£0 Limit, 3 network 18mthx£20, Vanquis £233/£250, Vodafone 24mthx£35, Great Universal £500/£600, Littlewoods £500/£600, Marshall Ward £250/£300, Halifax Reward £93/£100 o/d, Studio £44/£250, Flybe £1450/£1500, Accessory £450/£520.

Well some 22mths ago nov 2007 I went into a branch to open a gold account, well they declined that said cash account only.
Checked the old experian turns out two eastern european people been done for fraud with Lloyds Tsb!, they got two cifas one for false name other for false identity.
Anyways was informed 6mths run account well upgrade no probs, ok 6mths later & having paid £14k turn over during this time thought no probs both cifas off my file loads of green zeros hardly any credit searches fine,
Anyways declined me!, a further 3mths later applied again declined again!.
Went to Barclays they offered me Premier Account with £50 g/tee card.
So i went back to Lloyds with said card and said why oh why cant i get upgrade so i can get free usa travel insurance?
No she says, you cant even get a classic account.
Ok close it I said, she does next day annoyed I go back to the same branch and hey presto would you believe it they offer me a silver account the* even rang the Personal Lending Dept while i was in the office(they aint supposed to) he had dealt with me before!.
Anyways from that day to today I applied for an upgrade once a month without fail on the 19th or thereafter and you have guessed it every single time they said no.
More than slightly annoyed about this so my mission in life is to get this account upgraded!, please can someone tell me how i can.
Been told loads of Bull about what to do btw, including paying at least £720 per month in, setting up a savings account with a standing order transferring £100 per month in etc, also check my credit file which is fine apart from 62 credit searches!.
Also Lloyds don't update my credit file regular last time was back in 1/1/09.
Also my internal score is 99, having been 9 previously under their old system.

[1] Why do you feel the need to explain the colour of the personal banker?
[2] The fact that Barclays are only willing to offer you a cheque guarantee of £50.00, on a Premier account, that should if you meet the required credit score offer you a £250.00 CG, tells me you still have some work to do.

I just wondered why you felt the need to state the colour of the personal banker.
You called me a plank, now i know why lloyds will not upgrade your account, you need to be over 18 before you press apply:rolleyes:

Toxeth is inner city Liverpool you have every race & faith known to man here Black, White, Half Caste, Africans, Indians, Arabs, Greeks, all sorts really.
I call a spade a spade end of, It don't matter to me.
Lloyds TSB are shocking I deserve a gold account & i will get one, but i need help someone to tell me what i need to do to tick the boxes to get what i want.

Why would you want any "upgraded" account with any bank?

It's not "free". It's £17 per month!

My LTSB Silver account costs £7.95. For that I get:
Mobile insurance (I had this with Vodafone cost me £6.95 a month)
AA cover (didn't have before so a bonus)
Card cover (Not bothered about this but oh well)
Travel insurance (Best quote I got was £40)
So, technically, I'm only paying a quid more than I was to Vodafone for the insurance alone, so the AA cover and Travel insurance are technically costing me £1 a month!!
With Vantage on the account as well, the interest I get every month is more than the account costs, so I'm chuffed!
It's not all crud for planks, you know! :rolleyes:I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0
