    that's a bit of a mean response - it's obviously Sat, Jan 25th.

Have you clicked the devere link above? (don't expect a response though!) or try the £19 travelodge deal.

Not mean at all, I was trying to help, there's no Saturday 25th in January which is why I asked what month they were talking about.

Devere hotels are lovely....can highly recommend the Theobalds Park Hotel....try and stay in The Mansion or The Ridings, both have lovely rooms, very modern interiors and look out for upgrades and deals once you book, they emai them to you.......Defo worth the money, and the breakie is very filling and you can request well done bacon, eggs no yolks etc
Have a sauna and gym too...if you have time walk about the grounds (if not too cold) we saw some lovely bunnies and baby deers
    hth

Also stayed at the Branksome Place, which was far but nice too, Felt they had ruined the oldness of it though with the modernity of the interior......bit ship like!!!
Great breakkie too though and a lovely Thai down the road.

I've just booked Wokefield PArk in Reading for £19 on Valentine's Day, top deal! Anyone know any info on breakfasts though?
We went to Wokefield last weekend on the £10 deal.

On the whole it was pretty good and I would definitely go back. The staff were very pleasant though we didn't have any issues so I can't comment on how well they deal with complaints. The double beds are very small and I'm glad we had a twin even though I had booked a double.

The bar is quite expensive for both drinks and food (£11 for a burger ). We enjoyed the food in the restaurant though the choice is limited. The salad bar as a starter is particularly good and quite honestly I didn't really need a main course at all.

I thought the breakfast was horrible and didn't bother on the second day. There was plenty of choice but it just tasted nasty.

There is a nice little spa there with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. It's located in the Manor House and not well signposted. Walk across the front of the manor until you get to the BMW academy and there is a path to the left which leads to the entrance on the side of the manor. The spa is on the first floor. It is very small though so you might have to wait if it's busy.
  • DON'T Book Swindon. The hotel is lovely but the surroundings is a dump... unless you want a tatty cinema, a Pizza Hut and 10 pin bowling!

Janie... hunting a decent one when I can get on the web!
