    Yes, well I don't add a cherry, but its Advocaat and Lemonade, I think you are supposed add gin or some thing equally scary but I am not that hard!!

    its a very naff 1970's drink I think but I love it even tho all my friends take the !!!! out of me every year for drinking it!

    I bet the bottle my Mum and Dad have is the same one from my teenage years.

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    I have a friend who loves advocat and drinks it all year around. Can't say I have ever tried it, what the hell does it taste of? It always makes me think its like egg...guess because of its colour and that has put me off

    Happy Birthday Lenny! And hello everyone. Had a lazy few days at my parents, and am now having another few lazy days staying with a friend, she's at work today so I'm just chilling out in her flat (literally chilling, it's so cold - making me very grateful I have central heating at home!)
    Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

    hhmmm. How to describe it. OK, it's sweet. Slightly sherbety when it is with lemonade perhaps?

    Apparently the ingredients are brandy, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks
