wrt the bogof on christmas gifts. This offer is only on at selected small stores only. It will not be on in the large stores

Could they be using the little stores as a test to see if it improves sales? I just get the feeling that all stores are slashing prices so even if it isn't for larger stores at the minute, it could happen before Christmas. It's not the type of thing Boots want publicised - if people know there is going to be a better offer they won't spend until it's on, which is why M&S didn't confirm their 20% days until the last minute.

  • Good find if it's instore - 250mls so definitely full size not a miniature, which would be excluded.
  • Hi ladies
Collected my points from online shop today and spent nearly all of them! Got the kids xmas dressing gown half price for £6.50, slippers for £3.50 then boots aromatic mens haircare kit free on 3 for 2. Also got xmas socks £2 and xmas top £2.50. (both half price) So im pleased with that as needed to get them anyway for DS but couldnt really afford it. My sister was also pleased as she wanted the t.sorbie straightening spray and i showed her how to use £2 haircare and 150 points t.sorbie. But she let me keep the 150 points plus 100 points on beecham. :D (that beeped by the way but added manually) Hopefully when oh gets paid ill get my points up to £35 so i can spend it in the sales. :D
Thanks for the help with my online shop, unfortunately my phone isnt working. So cant call them! And as theres no email facility Ill have to just return instore as i need to give them to my brother tomorrow.

  • Looked for this today but couldn't find any :o.
Did get bourjois pencil sharpener free with bluey and saved £2 on T&G shampoo plus extra 150 points.
They had quite a big pile of OOTW but didn't like it enough to buy it

    Grimsby store BTW
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Are all the kids dressing gowns etc half price? Don't need one for Xmas but at that price on points I could put it away for her birthday! :j

another thing you could try, (others have mentioned it working) is to go into your boots account, remove the health club from your account, remove you advantage card from your acount, then add you advantage card back again and add the health club again, worth a try?
sorry to quote myself - but the above works!
the half price + 342 weren't working for me a minute ago, just done the above and now my basket is showing £7.35 for 6
just a quick heads up - the fruits of the forest one says it is not suitable for vegetarians, the others don't mention it.

Went into the Broadmead, Bristol Boots this afternoon. They had loads of the OOTW there. Quite a large bag with good sized products - was very heavy!!! they had them upstairs and on the ground floor.

Also had a look at the Bourgois stuff and as well as the tweezers and pencil sharpener they do a nail file and brushes. not sure of the prices but can't be too much I'm sure.

The kids dressing gowns are lovely, I bought one last week. they are either in cream with red and white piping on the pockets or red. They are half price and on 3 for 2. I think they go up to a 4-5 yrs size. you can also get bootie sleepers on the same offer for around £3.00 for the cream ones and £3.50 for the red ones. I got a 10% mini mode voucher from the ACM and it worked on the dressing gown so got another 65p off!

Gifts still on 3 for 2 no sign of BOGOF!!!

Angie what size do the dressing gowns start at. Im after one for my wee boy.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear
  • Thanks. Have you ever not been home? What happened?

    This happened this week!

They put a card through 2 days before the delivery due saying 1st attempt made on and then a 2nd card the next day - I rang up on the day Boots had indicated they would attempt and got a obnoxious arrogant twerp who assured me three times over that if I weren't in on the 3rd and final time that it would get sent back to the sender. They then turned up on the next day and dumped it on the doorstep without knocking...

Can't see myself buying from .com again in a hurry!

Actual Boots small stores, or the Lloyd (?) ones?
