It's about the same for this one jamtart, around 100 words so 4 or 5 lines should do it. Just make it interesting and to the point.0

Hows everyone getting on with the qype, I've got the 500 points and the 2nd set of rewards, just aiming for the 50 rewards for Amazon voucher, but for the ipod, although its 1,000 you still need to have a minimum of 60 reviews.xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Guess I should make a start - maybe one an hour and I'll get there by the end of the week. Reckon I'll die of boredom?!

So long....farewell...auf wiedersehen....:D
Basically I started this thread 2nd December 2007, nice and early for 2008 as most people have got their gifts sorted, all review vouchers spent etc. and eBaying is done and dusted as it is so close to Christmas.
So...here is a summary of how I did this year (and how I ended up spending £66 hard cash). This includes all birthdays, christmas, weddings, births, get well flowers...the lot!!
Original Cost: A staggering £1431.76 is what all my goodies would have cost me if I had paid full price, but due to BOGOF's, 342's, sales, vouchers, loyalty points and the fact I would never have paid full price....then I obviously managed to reduce this cost to the....
...Actual Price paid which was £639.60 which was 54% less than the original cost :T this was how much cold hard cash I spent NOT the vouchers, online voucher codes, loyalty points etc. Literally just actual cash....then I needed some way to cover the cost of this cash so what did I do?I calculated the.....
...Total Cash Fund available.... which came to a super duper £572.89 from surveys on onepoll (£23.00), recycling 2 old mobile phones with Envirophone (£5.00 referral and £19.72 in Argos vouchers which an relative exchanged for cash), Quidco brough in £180 this year (opened a bank account got £20 etc.) - don't own a house so none of this is from insurances, £20.99 from cashbackrewards, £12.06 from Top cashback but the winner of all of this was [strike]de-junking[/strike] clearing out the house and putting things on eBay managed to make me £267.12.
So ....
..the TOTAL LEFT TO PAY for ALL OCCASIONS in 2008 is £66.07...which I might still be able to cover but won't worry if I don't
90% money neutral overall, MUCH better than I thought. Have a £50 amazon voucher and £136 Boots points for the sale left for next years shopping tooand a very happy purse

So... who's with me for 2009???? A lot of people who chat on here are also on the Organised Christmas thread, so we thought we might join the threads for 2009 as we ended up posting a lot of the info twice on this and that thread... what do people think??

Have not had time to get anything on ebay yet so am a bit behind my £800 target but I have made £550 this weekend at a craft fairs and got £111.38 quidco cashback paid out at end Nov which just landed in my bank account today.I have been putting my pennies and any change in my piggy bank as part of the save £1 a day for christmas challenge and have £100 already so not far off my goal even without ebay.
I will have to spend the next 2 weeks finishing off my christmas organising and getting the house ready for family staying with us so apart from perhaps one more fayre or that big car boot sale this saturday(doubt I will be organised enough to get to either) I am done earning and spending for this christmas.
Not entirely cost neutral as I have spent too much on the grown ups having spent an average of double my £20 per person budget.I have managed to be over 80% spend neutral which is pretty good."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
