Wow some great ideas - I wasn't thinking about doing a hmaper too much - but it seems to good not to now! Does anyone go to a wine shop or florist and get their baskets wrapped in that cellophane stuff?0
-
on the subject of celephane - we did hampers last year and bought a roll of the stuff for about £3 from an art supplies shop - an enormous roll, so we will probably have enough until about 2050! ;D0

Last year I did toilteries like bars of soap, handcream & talc wrapped in face cloths then wrapped again in big bath towels. e topic of hampers.
What a great idea! A present within a present within a present type thing. I think I'll be making a couple of those this year, maybe pop them in a nice whicker basket.
Thanks for the tip ;D0 -
a friend of mine has done a cleaning supplies one for her daughter who is moving out after xmas with her boyfriend, with all the things you need for first house. she has just bought and extra thing or to a week to go in it, and i am quite jealous, it looks brill.0

My Mum did this for me when I first moved out.
Instead of a wicker basket she put everything in a kitchen bin. So even the Hamper was useful. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -
i'll have to suggest that to her, thanks.0

Thinking of a present within a present, the kitchen bin could have gone in an outside bin. Then the outside bin in a shed etc etc.
Mum ends up buying you a house ;D0 -

If you're already thinking candles and choccie why not do a purple 'relax bath' hamper! Purple soap, bath oil, bubble bath, scrunchy thing, flannel, candle holder etc.Mink0

Ooo, good idea, I like that, she needs to relax too.
Thanks. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0
