    Tragic News

Hello ladies, I have something to tell you and it is hard to find the words to say this to you. But one of our Girls has contacted me with some tragic news. She has asked if I can post a message here on her behalf.

Livermumof2 whose name is Jill, has had a tragic bereavement, she has lost her beautiful baby boy Thomas.

Thomas was just 8 months old and he died on Wednesday Morning of Meningitis.

Jill said "He got meningitis and fought for 3 long hours but he couldn't keep fighting. It was so sudden and quick." She is devastated and is feeling so lost and I am trying to support her by posting this message for her.

Jill posted recently that her Mum is due to undergo major surgery for secondary Cancer, so she was already under great pressure anyway. Her world has fallen apart.

No words can take away her pain, for there is no pain like the death of your much adored child, It is a pain like no other bereavement, but perhaps we can support her with our thoughts, prayers and kind wishes.

She has already, in her thoughtfulness apologised to me if she does not answer my PM's, which in itself will show what kind of a brave woman she is, and as Jill said to me :A " My life revolves around my kids" :A

I cannot find any other words to say except that life is so very cruel at times, and none of us should ever, ever take it for granted. Thanks

All my thoughts are with you you in this time Jill. (massive hugs!)

EDIT: Thank you also Polls for letting us know so lovingly and for being there for her.

    Crushed :(

Thanks SK, I think perhaps if people want to PM her and that way she can read any messages when she is able to, in her own time at her own pace. Jill said that everything is a help at the moment. I know its not easy to find the words for there are no right words, but sometimes just 'I am sorry' can mean so much.
