I think the MSE way is to do as above. ie: rinse out and reinstall.
Total cost £30 for two elements.
Versus £400 for new tank and £700 whatever for heat store.Happy chappy0 -
I bought 6 gallons of white vinegar and used it to clean the tank out.
Just as a matter of interest, what is this nipple in the bottom of the cold tank for?
Right in the middle, with a bit of plastic tube on the end of it.
