FD PPI claim rejected 2-3 yes ago.

Morning all.

I applied for a personal loan online thru FD back in 2004 ish. I'd been (mis) sold PPI on a previous loan by them which I took out over the phone in about 1999. I applied the info given to me in 1999 to my reasoning whether to take PPI in 2004, so I ticked the box.

It wouldn't have paid out in either case.

I claimed a refund a few years ago. The 1999 claim was upheld, but as I'd ticked the box myself in 2004 the claim was rejected.

I probably ought to have pursued it at the time, but could I revisit this now?

I'm guessing not, and I think the loan was settled in 06 / 07 so Plevin probably won't work either.

Anyone got an olive branch?
