telephone number for income support in cardiff

Hi there
I spent 2 days trying to get hold of Income Support in Cardiff/Newport on the 0845 number. All I get is press button 1, oh no all the lines are busy. It's cost me a fortune trying to get through to them like this.

Does anyone have a back door phone number to get hold of them?

    I think these numbers have been issued nationally Mike so sorry I'm not much use - when I want to contact them urgently I visit the office.

    There's an office?!? I couldn't find anyone who could speak to me in Barry, Penarth or Cardiff (2 Offices).
