Myself and some friends have bought chesterfield sofas and chairs from them, brilliant. In a different league from Land of Leather and that sort of stuff. One foot came off, repaired quickly, foc, profuse apologies. One thing to note though. We just took the standard cushion filling, without realising that you can virtually have your sofas custom built, and really, they are too soft, could have done with one stage firmer. Nice people, good products, at least in our experience. Several years on, and they look set for a long time to come. HTH.

Can I ask did you visit the showroom before buying or buy 'blind'?

We bought blind, as did our friends, well, from a catalogue. As we were buying chesterfields, we went around a few furniture places, found the odd chesterfield, and tried them out. They are not everyones cup of tea, quite different to many modern setees. Saxon do other types as well, of course, but we're all happy with ours. They also send colour samples. We are near London, so a showroom visit was not practical, really, although if I'm ever near there, I'd be very interested to see the place.
• Hi Everyone,

As the Sales & Marketing Director of Saxon Leather it is always pleasing to see positive comments about our company.

I noticed a large number of visits to our website from the money saving expert forum yesterday and came onto the site and found this thread.

If anyone has any specific questions that they would like answered on our furniture or about leather sofas more generally I would be happy to hear from you @ matt@saxonleather.co.uk. Alternatively if you visit our website we do offer a free brochure.

I looked at them when I was getting my furniture but Thomas Lloyd won out on price in the end. They've been excellent, bought all my furniture blind and more than happy with my Chesterfields.
