Combined House, Pet and Car Insurance

Hi Ya,
Our House, Pet and Car insurance are all due up for renewal and have been increased in the usual renewal style. I want to combine all 3 to see if we can make some savings. I will be decreasing the car insurance from Class 1 to fully comp as I no longer require the car for business use. I have cancelled some strange house maintenance/repair insurance that was included in our house insurance last year (without my knowledge) that I already have covered with a different policy. Our pet insurance is with pet plan and becoming too expensive. Our dog has no pre-existing conditions but is now 7 years old. I would appreciate an advice on whether to combine the insurances and if so who's best to go with or take the insurances out separately.

Cheers
D

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna' board to the ‘Insurance & Life Assurance’ board, where it is better suited.

    Regards

Combined policies probably come at an extra premium for those that value time more than the extra premium.

Just one date to remember and everything is insured, your unlikely to get a great deal though.
