Whats the chance of this happening in the UK as well as Australia ?
Surely the airbags are going to be the same ?
At the moment - both my wifes and my own Suzukis show as "NO OUTSTANDING SAFETY RECALLS FOUND" on https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

Nope - 2013 and 2017 !0 -
You would surely be better checking directly with Suzuki?
I know Toyota GB have a dedicated recall checker where your reg, no. is entered. My Toyota did have an airbag replaced a couple of years ago as part of the original recall.
If your vehicle is affected Suzuki should write to you, as Toyota did, as long as their records are up to date.
https://cars.suzuki.co.uk/owners/check-outstanding-recall/ There you are, that was easy!
As an aside "we’re asking readers, like you, to make a new year contribution in support of the Guardian’s open, independent journalism" really did cause me to utter a very audible guffaw!0 -
