Have been quoted £90 an hr for the above. The plumber reckons it can take up to 2 hrs to fit. It seems a bit pricey for me! Thanks

I recently had a new kitchen mixer tap fitted and the plumber gave me a fixed price quote before he arrived.
This was £55 and in the end it took him about 45 minutes for the full job.
Up to £180 for fitting a tap seems way OTT to me and I would suggest getting a few more quotes.0 -
This sounds like a central London Price with someone like Pimlico Plumbers.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

I'm in Glasgow and we've just been quoted £45 an hour, including VAT.0
