Quiet Keyboard and Mouse

Hi all
Recently had to move my office and now next to one of the kid's rooms.
I could do with a quieter keyboard and mouse as i mainly use the office at night after work.
Any suggestions? Wireless is nice if I can get it.
I am either doing accounts based work (need a numeric pad on the keyboard) or attempting to pen some stories so the keyboard does get a good bashing!

Nearly all rubber dome keyboards are quiet. It might be worth going to your local PC shop and just testing on a few of their keyboards to see what you like.
I went the total opposite and like a clicky keyboard, so have mechanical switches.0 -

I do generally like and use a mechanical keyboard but just need a quiet option for evenings.
Unfortunately, i may need to order online as no local PC shops to where i am hence the question.0
