Not nothing, but don’t expect miracles.

Jaguar have a 160 point check, but I’ve read about a number of owners who’ve got their cars home only to find something that hadn’t been done - barely legal tyres being one example.

That said if you found something obviously faulty shortly after purchase, and it should have been picked up on their Approved Used checks, you’ve got a chance of getting it fixed - although I’m not sure its worth more than your statutory rights.
