Cancellation Charge

Hello!
I recently booked a holiday through last minute.com, putting down a deposit of just over £100. After doing this i realised the return flight home was not direct which is what i required. I tried at first to change the flight but as non were available i had to cancel and re-book.
When i cancelled i expected to simply lose my deposit but i have been charged the full fare of the flight and the hotel cancellation charge too. Is this correct? As it has cost me just shy of £530 and i just wanted to make sure this was legitimate!

losing just deposit is something you would get with proper package holidays. Lastminute sell you separate elements, flights + hotel that will have different rules, sounds right but you should check the terms and conditions of your bookingJoshCheeks wrote: »When i cancelled i expected to simply lose my deposit but i have been charged the full fare of the flight and the hotel cancellation charge too.
