Unfair parking charge (private company)

I’ll keep this short, Okay so I received a parking charge notice from IPSERV about 3 weeks ago , I had paid for a full days ticket and it was in full display. The reason they had given me a ticket was because I had apparently breached their rules by parking in an unmarked bay, so when I looked where I was parked I could see the white line all be it a bit faded and slightly broken (I took photos)
I wasn’t to concerned as I thought the case would be dropped but to my surprise they have upheld their decision. I will copy and paste there response below.

Thank you for your appeal received on 26/09/2019 regarding the above detailed Parking Charge Notice. We have reviewed the case and considered the comments that you have made. This appeal has been considered in conjunction with the evidence gathered by the parking attendant.
I have reviewed the photos taken by the Enforcement officer and The photos sent in by yourself, I am satisfied that its clear under no uncertain terms that the line displayed in your photos do not indicate a parking bay as its very clear from the car park bay markings all bays are enclosed with white lines that indicate a parking bay and the area you had parked displays an old shadow of a burnt away line when the new linage was completed.
Our records show that the notice was correctly issued as your vehicle was parked in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Parking.
We are therefore unable to cancel the Parking Charge Notice as it was issued correctly. We have now extended the discounted payment period by 7 days to allow you time to pay the discounted settlement amount. Please now make payment of £60 to reach us by 04/11/2019 or £100 to reach us by 18/11/2019. We must advise you that once the discounted settlement rate passes it will not be offered again.
You have now reached the end of the internal appeals procedure, To appeal to the independent appeals service please go to popla reference number ********** You have 28 days to do so

Payments can be made by cheque or postal order made payable to Ipserv Limited. Please ensure you write your Parking Charge Notice number clearly on the reverse. Please do not send cash through the post.

What a load of utter rubbish! If a line is so visible that it can be seen when taking a photo of tarmac then it is indeed a line.

  • Soo I’ve had a chat with a friend who works for this particular company and he basically told me they wouldn’t uphold this decision if they didn’t think popla could possibly rule against them soo now I’m really unsure what to do is there any way I could share any photos of evidence with anyone and get another opinion ?
