What bank can military pension be paid into

Returning to UK next year,can my husband's RN pension be paid into a monese account until he can get a proper UK high street bank account. Contacted military pension people no reply . No one seems to know.He is worried.Thanks.

Since Monese has the same system of sort code & account number as any other UK bank the AFP can be paid into it. Alternatively he could arrange to have it paid into whatever foreign account he is currently using0

Thank you,that is a relief, he is having it paid into a European bank at present. It was for when we return to the UK next year.0
