Happyuser - just because a company has business practises you don't like doesn't mean they are wrong.
Which company ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
That would be JustEat they are talking about.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6030722Just Eat is an extremely disgusting company.
They make millions of profits by inflating the takeaway prices and manipulating them so that all takeaway shops have the same prices which are increased regularly.
They are also a monopoly as I do not think there are any other companies we can order from.
Is there a way to bypass these horrendous people and also is there a government service to see that they use monopoly practices?
I would like to order by phone but the problem is that Just Eat has employed their own drivers and you cannot just phone the restaurant. Also, I do not want to pay in cash.
PS: no thick comments 'cook at home' etc please0 -
Possibly, although they might have found something new to be enraged and disgusted about.powerful_Rogue wrote: »That would be JustEat they are talking about.0 -

Or more likely they didn't get the answer they wanted on the PV&W board so thought they would try their luck here.

The government are already aware of Just Eat. Contrary to what you may believe, they go home at night, after work, and browse the internet, have a drink, and see adverts or even order takeaway food.Where can I report a company to the government for monopoly and other bad trading practices?

You may as we’ll report that Dover’s on the channel, or Kylie Minogue has a nice bottom.0
