New comper with a nice win (I think)

So I've been lurking here since about mid May, entering several competitions most days. I was starting to feel a little disheartened but then yesterday I got a phone call from Bauer saying I'd won a family ticket to Splash World.
I'm pretty sure the original thread was number 6030518 (cant post links yet)
So many thanks to One-Eye
I am a little puzzled because under the competition terms and conditions it says the winner will be contacted by phone or email after 9th September 2019 - so they're nearly 4 weeks early. I've not had a confirmation email of any sort.
Is this normal for Bauer?
Hopefully it's not some sort of elaborate scam because it really is a great win for me, helping to keep the little ones busy.

Congratulations
Bauer are well known for not being accurate with closing dates. In this case they might have meant 9th August even though both versions of the comp clearly give 9th September.0 -
