Decreasing term life insurance for disabled people?

Hi
Tried several companies to get decreasing term life insurance to run alongside our mortgage for my disabled wife but constanly being refused, are there any companies out there that specialise in insuring disabled people?
Thanks

Have you tried a broker, get them to do the work rather than you having to go through it all the time?

What is your wife's disability, as that is going to have an effect on any policy and what is excluded.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

There's no insurance company which specialise in offering cover to disabled people. Typically, insurers might specialise in a particular disability but even then it would be very much dependent on the condition, it's severity, it's prognosis and progression and any subsequent issues caused by it, such as depression/stress etc.

Insurance is based on risk and they will either offer silly premiums or just reject you. The more serious the condition the more likely the latter I am afraid

We had a policy like this several years ago to make sure our mortgage would be paid if one of us died. Disclosed his MS and it was accepted. It was through a mortgage broker and Scottish Widows. It was for a 15y policy to run along side. So try a broker as they have more scope to inform you.
