UK cruise insurance

Options
Hi
Apart from cancellation, is there a need to travel insurance for a UK cruise, My mother is wanting to book one, but is wondering if it is needed for medical emergencies, or will the price just reflect still being in the UK

Many thanks

Yes, insurance is needed: If your mum was ill and had to be airlifted off, that would be very expensive. You need to ask for specific cruise cover, as it's not automatically included in most normal travel insurance policies due to the added costs of cover.
