New toilet makes foghorn sound after flushing?

Hi our new toilet which is nearly 2 yrs old as just started making a foghorn sound after each flush. Just wondered should I call the plumber who fitted it? Or claim on the inurance paying £25 excess? Just wondered why the sound if all new?

Appreciate any advice

Thx

Claim what on the insurance? They tend not to cover routine maintenance and repairs unless you have some sort of maintenance contract.
When parent's did that it required a new bit inside - don't recall what.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

New, 2 years old? You realise that doesn't make sense right.

Try turning down the flow at the isolator to see if that helps, if not replace the fill valve.

Switch off the water supply to the toilet, flush it, does it make the noise? If yes change the flush mechanism, if no change the ball valve.
    Job done.
