Virgin credit card

Applied for a virgin money cc and got an email saying I'd been approved and they'd send a further email telling me when to expect card, how to access pin and online services etc. There was no reference number attached to the email.
That was three days ago and haven't heard anything back, am I definitely approved or is this just pre-approval stalling me until they run checks. I would have thought approved meant approved!?

  • Approved means approved unless they subsequently change their minds at any point in the future.

    Give them a call. However, 3 days would be very fast to receive the card or PIN.

    I recently got the same card and received the following emails in this order...

    Thursday 25th Oct 18, telling me i was approved
    Friday 26th Oct 18, email indicating my credit limit and details of my BT.
    Monday 29th Oct 18, email indicating mt BT has been complete
    Tuesday 30th Oct 18, email indicating my card was on its way and my registration code for online account.

    My card didn't arrive for another 7 or so days after those emails. Forgot to add that on all of the above email i never had a reference number.

    Depending what day you were approved Friday and over the weekend you wouldn’t of heard from them yet, even on a Mondaythrough to Thursday I’d give them 5 working days. Don’t panic if they’ve said you’re approved then you are.. Have fun
