Hi guys,
I'm just wondering if anyone here has a household/combined Avios account with their family members/spouses?
If so, what exactly are the benefits? I'm wondering if my partner and I should do the same?
Thanks,
Z

It allows you to share your Avios.
e.g. if you have 50,000 and your partner has 10,000 the household account will have 60,000. This means either one of you can redeem for 60,000 avios. It also means you could buy 2x 30,000 tickets on one booking.
Me and my wife have a household account as it makes using Avios that much easier.0 -
It means that each of you can use Avios earned by the other.0

We have a household, much easier for booking for the whole familyPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

Just be aware that if you have a household account you can only book Avios flights for members of the account or people in your friends and family list (limited to 6 names from memory).0

We always travel as a couple, so combining is a no-brainer. We don't get many AVIOS as we only do short flights so don't get many points, although I also signed up for a Shell loyalty card and set it up so that my fuel purchase points are translated into AVIOS every quarter; so still not many. But even so, we get a frequent £40 off our cheap (£100 or less return) BA flights to Malaga or Florence; a dream trip from LCY as we can get there on our OAP scroungers' "Freedom Passes"0

would it not be possible to get reward flights and pay the £35 taxes?0
