Another for those on tight budgets. Dates from Feb to June. Many more destinations available.

    Example for 249; https://www.skyscanner.no/transport/flights/lond/bkkt/190305/190314/

    Best flight times are 290

Which you choose depends on your budget or whether you'd like to spend a day in Beijing sightseeing.

Seriously, do you imagine that people who choose the deal are expecting a five star experience?
A backpacker for instance, who takes the opportunity to take a day trip in Beijing/Shenzen/Chengdu. Do you think they would rather save a couple of hundred pounds in the process?
We aren't all one person and we can search Google for reviews if needed.
Have you any actual personal experience?

Rich or poor you will probably need a visa to enter and have a look around. May even need one to spend such a long time in transit.
How much does that add to the price.
I have never flown Air China but IMO if there is an alternative for around 100 more that's what I would book to Thailand.

You get up to 144 hours( 6 days), with no need for a visa. So a great opportunity to visit the Pandas....
