I hope this is the right place to put this -
I was wondering what presents you are excited to give?
I love buying presents, I've struggled a bit this year but I can't wait to see their faces :j

I'm the same and I like choosing thoughtful gifts however this year I cannot find inspiration.
I have bought all the ' extra's but am really struggling to find a special main gift for mum. She normally has given me some ideas as we go round shopping but this year nothing.
The only thing she has mentioned but in passing is a cashmere jumper however on a selfish note I don't want to buy one because she is notorious for shrinking jumpers in the wash and secondly I am trying to be more savvy with money and its annoying to pay full price for Christmas to find them half price a day later in the sales.0 -
I've bought a plane cockpit experience for OH. Quite excited about that.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I have really struggled with main presents too!! I only have main presents for 2 people, my bf and my brother in law. My sister has a similar amount spent on her but she has more, smaller items. My parents don't have main presents, but just more smaller presents. I think you made the right choice not buying the cashmere jumper, especially if she has a history of shrinking them :eek:0 -

That sounds amazing!! It will feel so festive :xmassmile where abouts in the country are you staying? :j0 -
I would be excited too. :jpollypenny wrote: »I've bought a plane cockpit experience for OH. Quite excited about that.
Would you mind sharing details, please.
I don't buy many presents.
My sister and her kids have money.
A few bits for OH and a friend and I'm done.0 -
Bought the other half and myself tickets to see Rich Hall and also Kevin Bloody Wilson next year. He loves comedy so I reckon I'm onto a winner with this gift. (Last year I bought lots of 'practical' gifts, which went down like a lead balloon!)."The problem with Internet quotes is that you can't always depend on their accuracy" - Abraham Lincoln, 18640

It was a Travelzoo offer. Just register with them. It will be in Ellesmere Port, not too far from us.

Ooh I love Rich Hall
When he does a parody of the "if I had a hammer" song :rotfl: "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
