Are there any in-branch accounts for easy access savings accounts? Or are they all online now? Is it possible to open one in a branch and just go in whenever I want to draw or pay in, rather than operate it online?

Yes. Though they tend to have lower (or very low!) interest rates.
Pop into your local branch and ask.
