I'm sure that the Coventry Building Socierty were offering a 5 year fixed rate ISA at 2.3% when I looked earlier this week. The highest they seem to offer now seems to be 2.1%.
Does anybody know whether they have reduced their rate or that I'm just looking in the wrong place?

You're not wrong - there was a fixed rate ISA to November 2023 paying 2.3%, but it looks like it was withdrawn yesterday, and the new five year deal pays 2.1%.
You can check for closed accounts and rates on the Coventry Building Society website under Savings / All closed savings accounts / cash ISAs. Unfortunately the forum won't let me post a link.0 -
Yes, new rate of 2.1% from today.0

Pathetic when you can get 2% for one year elsewhere.0

Argh! I'm now regretting not applying yesterday. Is 2.1% still the best rate around?0

You can get a better rate than 2.3% at the moment on a 5 year ISA but it will depend on how much you can invest and your preferred method of account operation.
United Trust Bank currently have a 5 year ISA at 2.3% but it's a minimum of £15k investment and it's only operate by post.
Furness Building Society have an online 5 year ISA with a minimum investment of 2.2%.
I tend to use moneyfacts.co.uk to check current rates - not saying they are the best, just that I got used to using them and their format. Other comparison sites are available!0 -
What we need is a comparison site comparison site....Berkshire_Beancounter wrote: »I tend to use moneyfacts.co.uk to check current rates - not saying they are the best, just that I got used to using them and their format. Other comparison sites are available!
