Help please re tax credits and company pension

Hi!
My OH's payslips show that his total gross and taxable gross figures are the same but he pays into a company pension, so when I renew tax credits am I meant to deduct the pension contributions from the figure they hold as I thought the taxable gross and total gross should be different.

Sorted now, rang them up and I was right so they have put final figure back to what I told them.
