How to find out if I was left anything in a will

Hi. Not sure if this is posted in the correct place
My grandad wants to find out if his brother left him anything in his will. He had no children and he is sure he is entitled to something, he knows he wrote a will as his brother told him but never mentioned what he had left and to who. Their sister is dealing with all the finances and selling the property and she is more able bodied but she will not speak to my grandad about any matters regarding a will so how can we find out if he has indeed been left anything?
Thank you

She might be selling, but is she administering the will?
If so, she needs to make sure everything is above board. Executors of a will have a legal duty.0 -
If he died in England or Wales then look here.

It's £10 for a copy.
Remember a person can leave their money to who they want and the will is only available after probate has been granted. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
If the grant of probate has now been issued, then the Will becomes a public document. You can search online for the Will - https://www.gov.uk/search-will-probate0
