    Hi there
I had an auto renewal on a wholesale site which I wasnít aware of, I contacted them after two days to say Iíd had no notice of the renewal and I certainly didnít have an email advising that they had taken money from. I asked to refund me which they didnít and now Lloydís are telling me that theyíve put in another request for the money after MasterCard refunded me.
Do I not have rights to cancel.
    Many thanks
    Tracey

Not if it was mentioned in their terms and conditions "unless you tell us otherwise we will renew"

They could have processed it against the existing card. It would still be valid.

This is a common mistake, however the merchant has not broken the law. Any refund would be one of kindness rather than compulsion.

I have made this mistake in the past and had charges from merchants I had forgotten about completely. I requested a brand new debit card, disconnected the old one and took care in future of what I signed up to.
