Which bank does hmrc use? I just received a tax rebate.
I am using the lloyds cheque clearing for the first time.
I scanned the front and back..it says if all ok should clear by tomorrow.
But my concern is that on the cheque that I scanned there is no bank name on top..just says hmrc..so wondering how my bank will exchange the image of my cheque with them to clear it..

Banks use the sort code not the name shown on the top of the cheque. There's a line of machine-readable characters at the bottom of the cheque which is what is needed for clearing. Don't panic, banks are well used to clearing cheques!0
