laptop hard drive broke.

Can anyone tell me if I can return to company for repair...
I purchased a Lenovo Z50 15.6 Inch AMD FX7500 8GB 1TB Laptop 18 months ago and the hard drive is faulty?
Not used the laptop very much just for college stuff.

Would appreciate some advise. Thank you.

You can return to vendor or ask the manufacturer .
However you may be asked to prove that its an inherent fault or could reasonably have been expected to last longer .
Personally I would check with the manufacturer first ??

How do you know its the hard drive that's broke ?

i got the same problem with a Lenovo Z70, several times worse - the HD was replaced in warranty already 3 times and the laptop is 2 years old. Now it is broken again.

What are my chances of getting a replacement instead of a repair?
