Field Call want to meet me? Help

I have received a letter from a company called Field Call. They have said that Nationwide have asked them to contact me and meet with Field Call about my loan arrears. I have two loans and one of them wasn't added to my DMP. I don't know why as I sent the information off. I have contacted Stepchange already to ask how to add this and have so far only received an email to say they have passed my email on for a reply. And today I have received this letter... it felt really scary!!

I want to ring Field Call and explain the situation but I thought I would check if anyone knows about them and can give me any advice?

    I'd call Stepchange and tell them you sent the email but have now have received this letter

    or call nationwide and talk to them, explain you are adding the loan onto your DMp

    Ignore these chaps from field call, occasionally banks employ these companies to come and have a chat with you as to why you are in arrears and to find a solution to get you back on track, they are paid, usually on a commission basis, but you do not have to deal with them, they have no rights of entry to your property.

    Get in touch with stepchange, forget the email, pick up the phone and speak to them, get the loan included in your DMP, send a letter to the creditor advising that`s what you have done, and they will call off the dogs so to speak.

    I would add that Field Call appear to be a debt collector and not a bailiff. They cannot be a bailiff unless you have a CCJ for this debt, which means they have no right of entry or repossession.


    If they did visit you, you don't need to deal with them and can just ask them to leave, and they should go. I would also suggest getting in touch with Step Change to see if this could be added to your DMP.
