Hi,

I have become unwell was admitted to hospital under section recently and have terminated my employment on good terms.

My partner has stopped working due to me needing help.

What happens when I claim Universal Credit- is there a Work Capability Assessment? I get DLA and partner has PIP.

Was thinking she claimed Carer's Allowance for myself therefore only I would have to jump through a work capability assessment.

Thanks
