Car insurance saving!!

I’m so happy.
Managed to save over £1200 by shopping around for car insurance.
My renewal was over £1700 (£900 up ok last yr!) for a 59 reg, 1.6 focus. Nothing has changed since last yr. No convictions, points, 13 yrs no claims absolutely ridiculous!
Quoted over £500 fully comp with £0 voluntary excess with direct Line.
When called old insurer to cancel they immediately shave off £250 because I called to cancel but they couldn’t get lower than £700 like for like!!
I’m chuffed! Cheapest insurance I’ve had for years! :T
