Vibrating cooker shelves.

Hi all,

Bought a new candy electric intergrated oven just after xmas. Not really used it over the holidays, but I have noticed that the shelves vibrate alot when heating up. Makes the oven loud and constantly does it when the temperature drops before the ovens heat kicks back in. Rang AO and having a new one on Friday so can't complain. I did see anti vibration connections when Googled the problem, and want these encase. Anyone know what they are called please so I can get some encase.

Thanks

  • It is probably the fan blade hitting the heating element. Mine does this & it makes a rattling noise when the little red power light is off & the element contracts. Stops as soon as the red light comes back on & the element expands again.
Take the shelves out & put the oven on for 30 mins. If it rattles, it's the fan blades hitting the element.
  • Thanks. You can see the shelves bouncing while heating up. Hopefully the now one will not do this, but seen them vibrating things somewhere to.
